To encourage community-wide fitness and promote sports in Nantou County, we have proudly hosted the “Chang Ming Cup” 3x3 Basketball Tournament for four consecutive years. This event is more than a competition—it is a vibrant celebration that brings people together and strengthens community ties.
- Record Participation: The fourth tournament saw a new milestone, with 235 teams and nearly a thousand basketball enthusiasts from across the nation joining in. With divisions for all ages, from elementary school to seniors (“Old Horse” division), and a dedicated women’s league, the event truly welcomes everyone.
- Collaborative Spirit: The tournament’s success is a result of cross-sector collaboration. We are grateful to the Nantou County Government for their guidance, Caotun Junior High School for providing the venue, and over 21 local businesses and organizations for their generous sponsorship. This collective effort highlights the vitality and unity of our local community.
- Employee Engagement: Around 50 of our employees were directly involved in planning and executing the event, demonstrating our team’s unity and commitment to social responsibility. Their active participation empowers each individual to serve as an ambassador of positive energy within the community.
Nantou County Magistrate Hsu Shu-Hua praised our dedication to public welfare, noting that our mission to promote sports aligns with the county’s vision of creating an “age-friendly and livable city.”

For seven years, Chan Ming Electronic has hosted the “LOVE Caotun Christmas Tree Lighting Festival,” now a cherished year-end tradition in the Caotun area. This event brings families together and creates lasting memories.
- Holiday Landmark: In collaboration with over 60 sponsors, we transform the area around Qiaoguang Elementary School into a festive wonderland. The spectacular light displays and fireworks illuminate the night and foster a sense of holiday joy.
- Showcasing Young Talent: The festival features performances by 15 local schools and community groups, providing a platform for children to showcase their talents and infuse the event with youthful energy.
- Giving Back: To thank the community, we organize a grand raffle with prizes such as iPhones and hotel vouchers. The happiness and excitement of attendees, both young and old, are the greatest rewards for our efforts.
Magistrate Hsu Shu-Hua and the Director of the Education Department have both recognized our long-standing commitment to the community, highlighting our focus on student and educational affairs as a model of corporate citizenship.
